Friends and Family (Composition)

Good morning, class!

I hope you didn't miss me too much this morning. Wipe those tears of sadness; I will be back on Monday morning. ;)

This weekend, please spend 10 minutes brainstorming about 2 important people in your life. I will call them Person A and Person B in this blog post. Spend about 5 minutes listing all of the characteristics and/or details about Person A, and then spend another 5 minutes on the Person B.

Once you have finished the brainstorms for each person, make 2 lists. Title one list "Similarities" and write the items that the two people have in common. Title your second list "Differences" and write the items that are different for the two people. Don't worry if there are more similarities than differences or the other way around. Everyone's list will be different!

To summarize, on Monday morning you will need the following:

Brainstorm about Person A
Brainstorm about Person B
List of simiarlities between Person A and Person B
List of differences betweem Person A and Person B

On Monday we will use this homework in our compositon class, so be sure you have it nready!

Have a wonderful weekend, and I'll see you on Monday. I'm looking forward to learning about the important people in your lives!
